Searching for a downtown Dallas nightclub with great music, and entertainment that incorporates a fun dining atmosphere while serving excellent Japanese fusion cuisine? Located in the business district at 609 Harwood, Lit Kitchen & Lounge implements the tastes and sounds that your senses will guarantee to appreciate. Owned and operated by Reza Dibaje and celebrity chef Jimmy Tessier, this sexy 10,000 square foot venue holds a 450-person capacity, and can be divided into 6 sections: The Lobby, Main Bar, VIP Lounge, Elevated Dining Lounge, Aquarium, and Dance Floor. Previously known as the Harwood Jazz Club which closed in August 2016, Lit began renovations in December 2016 which ended up being a 2 ½ year project to construct, but was forced to delay opening for an additional 2 ½ years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Our goal was to create the best downtown Dallas nightclub, lounge & kitchen. Transparent waterfalls, crystal chandeliers, gold and silver curtains, custom cut mirrors, oversized fresh and saltwater fish tanks, aluminum ceilings, brick pillars, and stain proof flooring are just some of the architectural features that make this restaurant and nightclub unique from anything else that you will find in the city. There are 30 tables during dining hours that later transition into 20 VIP table locations for bottle service reservations during nightclub hours. Private VIP entrance into the venue is available for table reservations. Each VIP section of our Dallas nightclub has its own security and brass velvet ropes that divide the privacy from the general admission areas, and some of the VIP sections have built in pullout drawers for customers to safely store their personal belongings.
Our Dallas nightclub separates itself from its competitors through our technological capabilities that consist of custom state-of-the-art lighting, audio, and visual. Some of the technology specs include a massive LED video sphere as you enter The Lobby. A 27 ft. x 25 ft. octopus with 10,000 LED modules installed over the Dance Floor. The focal point of the restaurant and lounge contains a 27 ft. x 25 ft. Airfox video wall positioned behind the DJ booth, and there is an additional 8 ft. x by 6 ft. Airfox video wall located in the Aquarium behind the Main Bar.
Furniture specs in our Dallas nightclub consist of a variety of theme colors such as gold and silver VIP booths, red faux leather booths, and cedar wood tables. There are also brass suede maroon couches, red and blue ottomans, and sky blue suede love seats, chairs, & bar chairs. 8 elevated platforms are scattered throughout the venues that can be used by go go dancers and customers, and 1 day bed dedicated to ladies. When it comes to our dining, our Dallas nightclub incorporates a fusion restaurant that consists of some of the best food you will find downtown. We have up to 10 to 12 working waitresses on staff during our busiest days and nights. Our dining menu features all prime steaks, sushi, and seafood and with a mixture of Japanese, French, & Italian dishes all created by Jimmy Tessier. To open up your tastebuds, begin with any of our delicious starters such as the Arancini d'risotto, Salt-n-pepper calamari, or the Slider Trio. Our starters go perfect in combination with any of our main dishes including Shrimp & Grits, Crispy Brick Chicken, or Wild mushroom Risotto to name a few. Lastly, finalize your dining experience by indulging in and of our rich desserts before you get out on the Dance Floor including Drunkin' Donut's, Peanut Butter & Chocolate Mousse Tower, Hot Banana Fritter, and more!
